The Hong Kong Simple Public Housing SS M518 project and the Hong Kong Public Toilets and Refuse Collection Points Project constructed by it respectively won the "Gold Medal for Architectural Contribution to Livable Cities - Promoting Efficient Building Supply Solutions" award and the "Gold Medal for Architectural Contribution to Livable Cities - Promoting Efficient Building Project Management" award.

Ning Hanhao, Director of the Development Bureau of Hong Kong; Engineer Ho Chi-shing, Chairman of the Hong Kong Quality Assurance Agency; Zhou Quan, Deputy Chief Engineer of the Guangdong Provincial Academy of Building Research and a member of the National Committee of the Chinese People's Political Consultative Conference; Jiang Li, Marketing Director of China Construction Steel Structure, as well as experts from fields such as architecture, planning and market supervision, and representatives of industry associations, enterprises and public institutions attended the conference.

In recent years, China Construction Steel Structure Green Technology Company has accelerated the development of new quality productive forces and boosted the high-quality development of the construction industry. It has planned and built the most advanced intelligent manufacturing production line for steel structure modular products in Huizhou, Guangdong Province. Through standardized design, factory production, assembled construction, integrated decoration and information management in the factory, the construction site has been moved into the intelligent factory. "Build houses just like making cars", realizing the construction in the way of the manufacturing industry and significantly improving the construction efficiency and quality. Up to now, a number of modular building demonstration benchmarks have been built using modular construction technology, such as the Shenzhen Bay Area International Convention and Exhibition Hotel, the first high-rise modular hotel in China, the Shangmei Primary School in Guangming District, the first permanent modular school in Shenzhen, the Lianlong Primary School in Siming District, Xiamen City, the first permanent modular school in Fujian Province, and the Lixinhu School in Bao'an District, Shenzhen.

The Hong Kong Simple Public Housing SS M518 Project (for which China Construction Steel Structure is responsible for the supply of modular boxes) is the first Full Modular Integrated Construction (MiC) project in Hong Kong. Relying on the intelligent manufacturing production line for modular products of China Construction Steel Structure Green Technology Company, the boxes are fabricated and decorated. Up to 90% of the processes can be integrated in the factory, minimizing on-site work as much as possible and reducing construction waste and environmental pollution to the minimum. With the flexibility of modular construction and the detachable high-rise (18-story) residential structural system, it has provided more possibilities for alleviating the land shortage in Hong Kong and off-site reconstruction.
